Materials
- One yellow baby top
- One black baby bottom
- White felt
- Black felt
- Cardboard
- Elastic band
- Pipe cleaners
- Double sided fabric tape
Tools
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Xacto knife
Instructions
- Create the antenna headband:
- Create headband: Cut and glue an elastic band together to make a headband.
- Add antennas: Twist 3 pipe cleaners together for each antenna and roll the antenna ends into small spirals and glue the antennas to the headband.
- Create the stripes:
- Cut stripes from black felt and fringe cut them to make them a little more “fuzzy”.
- Create the wings:
- Draw and cut out outline: Cut the wings from cardboard
- Cut out felt: Cut out feltCover wings with white felt and cut it out.
- Glue black pipe cleaners around the wings.
- Cut and knot elastic band straps to the center of the wings to make them adjustable.
