How to Make Easy, DIY Edible Slime

Today’s activity is part science experiment, part sensory play and a favorite for all age groups. Get ready to pour, mix, and get a little messy with this hands-on science DIY. The best part? You probably have most of the ingredients in your pantry already.
Ingredients:

2 Handfuls of Marshmallows

1 tbsp of Coconut Oil (or any oil of your choosing)

½ cup of Cornstarch

Food coloring (optional)

Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Melt the Marshmallows
Microwave 2 handfuls of marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 second and stir to combine
Step 2: Add the Coconut Oil
Add 1 Tbsp of coconut (or any) oil and stir until it's mixed in.
Step 3: Add the Cornstarch
Mix in small amounts of cornstarch (about 1 Tbsp at a time) until it thickens up—you’ll use about ½ cup total.
Step 4: Time to Knead
Dust your surface with cornstarch, then knead the slime, adding more cornstarch as needed, until it's smooth and not sticky.
Step 5: Add color and decorations (optional)
If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and/or sprinkles and knead it in.
Step 6: Play & Repeat
Store it in an airtight container in the fridge to keep it fresh, and enjoy slime fun for up to 5 days!
