- Hot chocolate or eggnog? Bourbon (with either).
- Favorite holiday movie? Elf, like all year long, not just at the holidays.
- What's on the top of your wishlist? Time with my very busy teenagers.
- Favorite gift you've ever been given? Anything my kids got me, doesn’t even matter if it’s cheesy. Fake diamond earrings, #1 Mom mug, oven mitt —I’ll take it.
- Favorite gift you ever gave? Our bulldog and our rescue, who we thought was a terrier but is clearly a chihuahua.
- Ice skating or sledding? Sledding on a snow day!
- Favorite place to spend the holidays? At home, snuggled in with kids and dogs.
- Favorite holiday meal? I’m from Maryland, so we always have imperial crab dip. And prime rib roast with mashed potatoes makes everyone happy.
- Funniest item on your child's wish list (of all time)? Mini refrigerator.
- Would you rather get a useful gift or a fun gift? Useful and gift don’t really go together, do they?
- Would you rather have tinsel for hair or no hair at all? Tinsel hair!
- Pumpkin pie or apple pie? My mom’s chocolate pie.
- Funniest white elephant gift you've ever received? One year there was this amazing globe ornament, and people kept stealing it, and the party ended with a bunch of people seriously mad about it!
- New Year's resolution? To not to save resolutions for January.
- Have you ever been kissed under mistletoe? Every year!
- Favorite SNL holiday skit? Best Christmas Ever with Matt Damon and Cecily Strong.
- Mulled wine or hot toddies? Hot toddies by the fire.
- Would you rather wear an ugly sweater or elf slippers for the entire month of December? Elf slippers if it means I don’t have to wear high heels.
- What's on your holiday bucket list this year? A post-Christmas getaway before the new year craziness begins!
- Real tree or artificial? A real tree is worth every pine needle still stuck in the crevices of my floors!
- Holiday song most likely to get stuck in your head? Baby It’s Cold Outside.
- Rise early or sleep late on holiday break? Sleep late any chance I can get.
- Probability that your family's holiday card will show everyone in matching Primary PJs? My teenagers are generally camera shy these days, but let’s see what I can do.
- Ski slopes or ski lodges? Beach.
- What famous person, alive or not, would you invite to your holiday dinner? Kate McKinnon, holidays need all the laughs.
