Cut 4 pieces of the light purple tulle that are about twice as wide as the wearer’s waist and reaches to the wearer’s knees.
Cut 4 pieces for the medium purple tulle that are about twice as wide as the wearer’s waist and about 5 inches longer than the light purple pieces.
Cut 4 pieces for the dark purple tulle that are about twice as wide as the wearer’s waist and about 5 inches longer than the medium purple pieces.
Lay all of the tulle on top of each other and pin them together so that they don’t slide around.
Run a needle and thread about 1 ½ inches down from the top of the tulle using a basic running stitch.
Fold the space above the stitches in half towards the back and then fold it over once more. You can hot glue this in place or use a needle and thread and a whip stitch to stitch it in place.
Use a tapestry needle and thread the elastic through the tube made by folding the tulle over.
Pull the elastic to be roughly the same length as the wearer’s wrist, overlap the ends and hot glue together.
