Materials:
- One white kids top
- One black kids bottom
- 3 12x18 sheets of black felt
- Flexible wire
- Vinyl sticker letters in red and black
- Black craft paint
- Toilet paper tube
- Foam ball
- Large dinner plate (to use for tracing)
- Small bowl (to use for tracing)Tools
- Hot glue gun and sticks
- Scissors
- Paint brush
Instructions:
For the hat
- Use a large dinner plate to trace and cut two circles from black felt.
- Use a smaller bowl roughly the diameter of the wearer's head to trace and cut a circle in the center of both larger circles.
- Use the smaller bowl to cut a circle slightly larger than the bowl.
- Cut a length of black felt and hot glue the long edge around the smaller circle cut out on one of the larger circles.
- Cut a piece of the wire that is about 4 inches longer than the brim of the hat. Form a circle and wrap the extra inches around the wire to create a solid circle. Hot glue the wire to the top brim of the hat. Hot glue the remaining large circle with the cut out on top of the wire.
- Hot glue the slightly larger circle to the top inside of the hat.
For the microphone
- Hot glue the foam ball to the top of the toilet paper tube.
- Paint both the ball and the tube black.
For the shirt
- Place the letters in order on the shirt to get the spacing right.
- Peel off the backing and stick the letters in place.
