Materials
- One red, blue or green kids puffer or choose the color of your favorite flavor!
- One red, blue or green kids bottom or choose the color of your favorite flavor!
- Red felt
- Small red pom poms
- Stuffing (polyfil, tissue paper, or fabric scraps)
- Headband 1” wide
- Red pipe cleaners
- Adhesive felt in black, orange & green

- Hot glue gun & sticks
- Scissors
- Pencil
Instructions
- Create the headpiece:
- Cut two matching headpieces from red felt. Cut them with 3 curves along the top edge. Use the headband to trace the curve for the bottom edge of the felt.
- Glue these pieces together along the sides and top, leaving the bottom edge open.
- Stuff the headpiece.
- Glue the bottom of the felt around the outside edges of the headband. Add more stuffing as needed to make the headpiece stand up.
- Glue small red pom poms spaced out on the headpiece to create the “sugar” texture of the candy.
- Create the eyeglasses:
- Twist 3 red pipe cleaners together for structure, and bend them into two circles that fit over the child’s eyes with a small bridge in between the circles to connect them.
- Twist 3 pipe cleaners together twist them to the sides of the glasses. Bend the ends to curve around the ears.
- Create the Sour Patch logo:
- Cut a blob from black adhesive felt that fits over the belly.
- Use a pencil to draw “SOUR” backwards on the back of the green adhesive felt, and “PATCH” backwards on the back of the orange adhesive felt.
- Cut the letters out and attach the letters to the front of the black felt.
- Stick the black felt logo over the front of the jacket.
