Materials:

• One red kids outfit
• Red felt
• Stuffing, such as Poly-fil
• Large pom poms in green, orange, pink, purple and yellow
• Red ribbon
  

Tools:

• Hot glue gun & sticks
• Scissors

Instructions:

Create the Nerds Cluster base:

• Cut four large matching ovals from red felt that cover the child’s torso.

• Glue two sets of ovals together along the outer edges and stuff them as you glue. 

Add pom pom Nerds:

• Hot glue large pom poms in green, orange, pink, purple and yellow all over one side of each stuffed oval. Try to space the colors around the oval evenly. 

Make the straps:

• Hot glue red ribbon straps to the top shoulder area of the Nerds Cluster with the pom poms facing out.

• Glue red ribbon ties to the sides of the costume to hold it together around the waist.
