Mice with Cheese (Primary x Nugget®)

Materials

• One gray kids top
• One gray kids bottom
• Pink felt
• Gray felt
• Brown felt
• Headband
• Pipe cleaners
• Safety pins
• Double sided fabric tape
• Nugget cushions
• Eyebrow pencil, eyeliner or child safe face paint
• Nugget play couch in Lemonade

Tools

• Hot glue gun & sticks
• Scissors

Instructions

• Create the ears:
• Cut a long skinny strip of gray felt and hot glue to the headband.
• Cut two layers each of round shaped ears from gray felt, and two smaller pink felt inner ear pieces. Hot glue the ear pieces together.
• Pinch the bottom of each ear and hot glue it in place. This gives the ear more shape.
• Hot glue the ears to the headband.
• Create the belly:
• Cut a large oval from pink felt.
• Attach the oval to the hoodie with double sided fabric tape.
• Create the tail:
• Cut two matching long skinny triangles for the tail from pink felt.
• Twist about 3 pipe cleaners together for strength, and hot glue it sandwiched between the two felt tail layers.
• Safety pin to the back of the joggers.
• Create the cheese:
• Cut a few different sized circles from brown felt. You can use different cups and small plates to trace the shapes!
• Attach them to the yellow Nugget pieces using double sided fabric tape.
• Finishing touches:
• Use an eyebrow pencil, eyeliner or child safe face paint to pint a small black nose and whiskers on the face.
