Instructions:

Make the badges

• For the hat badge, cut a 2 ½ inch x 1 ¾ inch rectangle from red felt and a 2 inch x 1 inch rectangle from white felt.
• For the cardigan and shirt badges, cut two 3 inch x 2 ½  inch rectangles from red felt and two 2 ½  inch x 1 ¾  inch rectangles from white felt.
• For the bag badge, cut a 4 inch x 5 inch rectangle from red felt and a 4 inch x 3 ¼ inch rectangle from white felt.
• Cut a triangle from the long top of each piece of white felt in the shape of an envelope flap.
• Spread the envelope pieces a little bit apart and hot glue them to the red rectangle.
• Attach two strips of double sided fabric tape to the back of each badge.

For the pants:

• Cut pieces of the red, white and blue ribbon that reach from the waist band of the pants to the ankle.
• Attach them to the outer side seams of the pants using double sided fabric tape.

For the cardigan:

• Cut 2 pieces of the red, white and blue ribbon that are the length of the top of the pockets.
• Attach them to the top of the pockets using double sided fabric tape. Apply the chest badge to the chest of the cardigan.

For the shirt:

• Apply the badge to the chest of the shirt.
