Gnome

Materials:

• One green long sleeve kids top
• One tan kids bottom
• Orange felt
• White felt
• Black felt
• Yellow felt
• Elastic band
• Safety pin

Tools:

• Hot glue gun & sticks
• Scissors

Instructions:

Make the hat

• Glue two layers of orange felt together to make a stiffer fabric. 

• Cut the felt into a large half circle. 

• Roll the felt into a pointy hat and glue the edge to secure. 

• Glue an elastic band on either side of the hat if needed to help hold it onto the head. 

Create the beard

• Cut a beard base shape from white felt and make an opening for the mouth. 

• Cut strips of white felt and fringe cut them along one of the long edges. 

• Glue these strips overlapping each other, starting at the bottom of the beard base piece. 

• Glue an elastic band to either side of the beard to hold it around the head. 

Make the belt

• Cut a long strip of black felt that wraps around the child’s waist. 

• Glue a yellow felt belt buckle in the center of the belt. 

• Safety pin the belt around the waist.
