Cut a long rectangle from clear vinyl that wraps around the bamboo floral hoop and overlaps 2-3 inches and is about 6-8 inches from the hoop down.
Cut a long rectangle from white felt that wraps around the bamboo floral hoop and overlaps 2-3 inches and is the length from the bottom of the vinyl to the child’s shins.
Use the white tape to tape the vinyl to the floral hoop.
Hot glue the white felt around the bottom of the vinyl section.
Use safety pins to secure the back closed when wearing the costume.
Glue a double layer of sturdy felt straps to the bamboo hoop so that the costume sits on the shoulders.
Create the straw:
Use your red duck tape to cover your cardboard mailing tube. Carefully wrap it diagonally.
Glue the straw to of the inside of the glass just below the vinyl.
