Fenty Beauty (by Rihanna)

• One purple baby outfit
• 11-inch Styrofoam Cone
• Clear poster board
• Copper contact paper (metal fx)
• Foam-board
• White card-stock or printer paper
• Grey or silver card-stock
• One paper towel roll
• Extra large bone shaped sponge
• Purple acrylic paint (glossy)
• Purple hairbows/accessories for however you decide to style the hair
• Purple or black skinny ribbon (optional)
• Scraper/squeegee (optional)
• Glue gun/glue sticks
• X-acto Knife
• Clear tape
• Scissors

This lip color by Rihanna's Fenty Beauty is called "Undefeated" – and your craft skills will be equally unmatched with this bright and bold DIY costume.

• Use an X-acto knife to cut a 2-inch octagon from foam-board and glue on the tip of the cone. This is to create a bigger base to glue the triangles onto, and also to mimic the shape of the top of the lipstick.
• Cut long triangle pieces from foam-board, with dimensions of 1-inch wide flat at top (not pointy), 2-inch wide at bottom.
• Glue onto cone until all sides/triangles are glued.
• Cut 2-inch pieces of the contact paper and lay/stick onto triangle pieces, and make sure paper is longer than the triangle/cone so that it covers the bottom of the cone too.
• You may use a scraper/squeegee to make sure contact paper sticks, lays flat and is free of bubbles.
• Once sides are covered, cut an octagon shape from the contact paper to go at the top of cone (make it bigger than the shape) so that it partly covers the top of the triangles.
• Cut the paper towel roll the long way, then roll it up a little tighter so that the roll is skinner than what it was, glue all the way down the long way to close it.
• Cut, wrap, and glue a piece of white paper to the roll, and then cut, wrap, and tape(the long way) a piece of clear poster board around it to give it that plastic look.
• Hold the roll up against the bottom of the cone and trace around to measure the circle you will need to cut (you’re cutting along the line of the circle, not cutting an actual hole).
• Cut the circle a tiny bit smaller than what you traced; you want it to be a tight fit.
• Once cut, slide roll into to the incision and add glue around it to reinforce.
• Paint some purple at the other end of the paper towel roll where the sponge will be.
• Cut sponge into shape of the real lipstick sponge, then paint purple.
• Trace the letters from the Fenty logo, using gray or silver card-stock (you may have to trace with white card-stock first and use that as a template to cut the letters out of the gray).
• Then cut out, and glue onto one of the sides.
• Once sponge is dry, work part of the sponge into the paper towel roll carefully, glue on the outside of where the roll and sponge meet, to reinforce.
• Once complete, you can add a strap using purple ribbon so that it can be worn instead of held (optional).
