Penguin

Materials:

• One black kids outfit
• Black felt
• White felt
• Yellow felt
• Black elastic band
• Cardboard
• Fabric tape

Tools:

• Hot glue gun & sticks
• Scissors

Instructions:

• Create the face pieces

  • Use black and white felt to make the penguin’s eyes. 

  • Cut a rounded triangle from yellow felt for the beak

  • Attach these pieces to the hood with fabric tape.
    

• Make the belly

  • Cut a domed belly piece from white felt.

  • Cut this piece in half down the center lengthwise to allow access to the zipper.

  • Attach the felt belly to the front with fabric tape.

• Create the flippers

  • Cut two flippers from cardboard and cover each with black felt. 

  • Glue two black elastic bands onto each flipper to hold them on the child’s arms.
