Materials
- One pink kids top
- One rainbow kids top
- One blue kids bottom
- White iron on vinyl sheet
- White sweatband
- Pink wrist bands
- Pink scrunchie
- White leggings
- Purple felt
- White craft foam sheet
- Teal craft foam sheet
- Pink craft foam sheets
- Cardboard tubes
- Cardboard sheet
- Puffy paint
Tools
- Cutting machine, such as a Cricut
- Scissors
- Hot glue
- Fabric tape
- Iron
- Safety pin
Instructions
- Decorate the sweatband and leggings:
- Use puffy paint to create fun shapes onto the sweatband and leggings
- Slightly stretch the sweatband and leggings over cardboard to hold it steady while painting.
- Make the earrings:
- Cut star earrings from teal craft foam and stick them to the ears with fabric tape.
- Cut the Barbie Logo:
- Download the Barbie logo from the internet.
- If you have a cutting machine, use it to cut the logo onto a sheet of white iron on vinyl.
- If you don’t have a cutting machine, print out the logo and trace and cut the pattern from white felt. Glue the logo to a matching color felt as the tee and attach this piece with fabric tape.
- Make the belt:
- Cut a strip of purple felt that fits around the waist.
- Cut and glue a heart from white craft foam to the center of the belt
- Attach the belt around the waist with a safety pin.
- Create the weights:
- Use cardboard tubes and cardboard sheets to make the weights.
- Cover the cardboard weights with pink craft foam (or paint!)
- Make the tee a crop top:
- Use fabric tape along the bottom edge of the tee and on the inside to make it into a crop top.
