For full snow-day coverage, pair it with our weatherproof snow pants and mittens. For babies, we also offer a weatherproof one-piece puffer suit.
Is Primary's lightweight puffer warm enough for winter?
Primary's lightweight puffer is designed for cool fall days, milder winters, and easy layering. It's packable and has nearly 6,000 five-star reviews. What's the difference between the reversible puffer and the fleece-lined puffer?
Both jackets are in Primary's Warmer tier. The reversible puffer has a puffer side and a fleece side, giving you two looks in one jacket. The fleece-lined puffer features a cozy polar fleece lining for extra warmth without an additional layer, plus a detachable hood and a built-in AirTag pocket.
What's the best Primary snowsuit for babies?
Primary offers two one-piece puffer suits for babies. Our lightweight puffer suit provides warmth for chilly days, while our weatherproof puffer suit has a fully waterproof shell for snowy, wet weather. Both offer one-piece coverage without gaps between layers. For car seat safety, always remove bulky puffer suits before buckling your baby in.
Are Primary puffers waterproof?

Yes. Primary's lightweight puffer has a 100% recycled polyester shell and fill. Our reversible, fleece-lined, and weatherproof parka puffers, along with our snow pants, feature 100% recycled polyester shells. All have a BIONIC-FINISH® ECO wind- and water-repellent finish.
