A Guide to Grown-Ups Sizing at Primary
We are lucky to get a lot of customer feedback at Primary, and the number one request we have heard over the years is for grown-up clothes! Our team agrees (we often find ourselves trying to jam into a kids size 14 so we can experience our super soft basics for ourselves!). So we started offering select styles in grown-up sizes, made with the same fabrics and colors your kids know and love — with even more in the works!
As a brand where customers shop for babies and kids, not boys and girls, it’s important to us that grown-ups have that same non-prescriptive shopping experience. For that reason, styles for grown-ups at Primary are broken up into two categories: Fit 1 and Fit 2. We fit on a diverse range of bodies for both, and have provided some general notes on the key differences between fits below. But as always, we encourage you to wear what feels true to you.
Fit 1
Fit 1 styles are narrower in the shoulders, shorter in length, and comparable to a traditional women’s fit.
Fit 2
Fit 2 styles are roomier in the shoulders, longer in length, and comparable to a traditional unisex fit.
Every grown-up style has a size chart with a "feels like" size and approximate garment measurements. We encourage you to check those out, or email help@primary.com with any questions.
