Materials

• One white kids outfit
• White foam board
• Red, blue, green, & purple cellophane sheets
• Black, red, blue, green, & purple markers
• Silver and white paper
• White craft foam sheet
• Elastic bands
• Velcro
• Bonus: Include their favorite MAGNA-TILES as an accessory!

Tools

• Scissors
• Hot glue gun
• Ruler
• Tape

Instructions 

Make the MAGNA-TILES:

• Cut a base shape: Cut a base MAGNA-TILE shape such as a square or triangle from white craft foam. Cut the corners to be rounded. 

• Draw lines onto tile: Use a ruler and marker to draw the MAGNA-TILES lines onto each tile.

• Outline lines in marker: Match the corresponding color marker to the cellophane for each piece.

• Use a black marker to draw "magnets": Use a black marker to draw the rectangle magnets.

• Cover the tiles: Cover the MAGNA-TILES with colorful cellophane and secure it in the back with clear tape. For the corners, make small folds in the cellophane so that it folds around each curved corner as neatly as you can. 

Attach the elastic bands:

• Make a pocket on the back of each tile with white craft foam for the elastic band to thread through. This will prevent the elastic band from pulling on the MAGNA-TILE foam too much. 
• Thread enough elastic through each pocket to hold each tile on the arms, torso, and head. Hot glue velcro on the ends of the elastic bands to make the costume easy to put on and take off.
