Peter Pan (Kid)

For the hat:

Cut two elongated triangles from green felt (this should somewhat resemble a shark fin.) Glue the hat together along the front and back seams.
Glue a one inch wide strip of green felt along the bottom edge of the hat to make a fake folded brim.
Twist 3 pipe cleaners together and sandwich it in between two red felt feather shapes. Glue together and fringe cut the feather along the edges. Glue the feather to one side of the hat.
If needed, glue an elastic band strap to the hat to hold it onto the child’s head.

For the sleeves:

Cut two strips of green felt long enough to fit around the bottom edge of each sleeve.
Cut one of the long edges in a jaggedy zig zag shape.
Attach the straight edge along the bottom edge of each sleeve with fabric tape.

For the belt and bottom tunic:

Cut a belt from brown felt with a few extra inches for overlapping.
Cut a large panel of green felt the same length as the belt to create the bottom half of Peter Pan’s tunic. Cut the bottom edge of the tunic in a jaggedy zig zag shape.
Glue the belt to the top edge of the tunic piece. Safety pin the belt/tunic together in the back and around the child’s waist.

For the toy dagger:

Draw a silhouette of a toy dagger onto cardboard with a pencil and cut it out.
Trace and cut 1-2 more matching dagger pieces. Glue the matching pieces together to give it structure.
