Using Our Words This Week: February 26, 2021

I’m so excited to be sharing this week's edition of Using Our Words for Black History Month, celebrating both Black history and Black futures! 

Something to explore the world (virtually, at least): Who doesn’t love a good puzzle and good virtual trip?
Something to create change: Ditto Kids magazine is a resource to help your family and kids to better understand and speak out against racism and become actively anti-racist. 
Something to inspire you: Um, yessss! We love seeing this example of Black excellence from UCLA’s Nia Dennis.
Something to read with the kids: Black history is American history and it’s for everyone… even (in fact, especially) the babies! 
Something analog to swap in for those inevitable long waits: Black History information cards are a great pass back on those long car, bus, or subway rides. 
Something to stand in for the museum: We miss the museums, but art is still all around us.
