Activity: DIY Bird Feeder

Summer is officially in full swing and the kids need new outdoor activities. This DIY bird feeder is so easy and fun to make together—and a perfect use for all the toilet paper rolls you've been hoarding! In about five minutes or less, your kids will be on their way to hours of bird-watching fun.
You'll Need:
- Empty toilet paper rolls
- Birdseed mix
- Peanut butter
- Optional: String
Optional: Loop a piece of string through the toilet paper roll and hang it on a tree or place the toilet paper roll directly onto a tree branch.
Keep an eye on what types of birds visit your feeder, you may be surprised how many different kinds it will attract!
