Pikachu (Pokemon)

• One yellow kids hoodie
• One yellow kids bottom
• Yellow felt (½ yard)
• Black felt (1 sheet 9 x 12 inches)
• Brown felt (1 sheet 9 x 12 inches)
• Headband
• Stuffing (polyfil, felt scraps, tissue, or newspaper)

Tools

• Safety pins
• Hot glue gun and sticks
• Scissors

For the ears:

• Cut four matching long pointy ears from yellow felt. Use the yellow pointed ear cutout end to trace and cut two black felt ear tips. Line up the pointed ends and hot glue the black tips to the yellow ears.
• Glue the backs of the ears to the front pieces and stuff with stuffing as you glue. Attach to headband or safety pin the ears to the top of the hoodie.

For the tail:

• Cut two large matching zig zag tail pieces from yellow felt. Use the bottom end of the tail to trace and cut out two brown felt tail end pieces. Line up the bottom end pieces and glue the brown cutouts to the yellow pieces.
• Line up the two tail pieces and stuff it as you glue together. Use polyfil or any stuffing you have on hand, such as paper towels or felt scraps.
• Safety pin the top of the zig zag tail to the upper back of the hoodie and the base of the tail to the bottom edge of the hoodie.
