For the apron:

  • Cut a rectangle from blue felt from the chest to the knees of your child.
  • Cut two half “U” shapes on the sides of the top half of the rectangle.
  • Glue a loop of blue ribbon to the top outer edges of the apron so it fits around the collar. Glue two lengths of ribbon to the sides of the apron at the waist and tie around the waist.
  • Print the banana logo from the internet onto a sticker label. Cut out and stick to to the chest of the apron.

The Banana

For the head:

  • Cut four rectangles of white felt that are the length of the distance from the top of the child’s head to their belly, and the width of the distance a little shorter than the width of the belly.
  • Cut the top ¼ of the rectangle to a point and hot glue the edges together, leaving the bottom short edge open.
  • Cut an oval for the face to fit through.

For the peel:

  • Cut four “banana peels” from white and yellow felt and hot glue one white and one yellow piece together. Hot glue the peels to the front, sides, and back of the base of the banana with the white side up.
